Pursuant to Section 466 of the Local Government Act R.S.B.C. 2015, Chapter 1, notice is hereby given that council for the District of Elkford has scheduled a public hearing to hear representations of all persons who believe that their interest in property is affected by proposed District of Elkford Zoning Bylaw No. 737, 2013, Amendment Bylaw No. 882, 2022.

This bylaw amendment will:
Permit the temporary placement of up to 2 recreational vehicles to be used as accommodation on-site for construction crews during an active building permit.
Set out the terms and conditions of this temporary placement, including:
Only permitted during a valid building permit.
Require a siting permit, which shall only be issued in 6-month increments.
Give the Building Inspector the authority to consider issues of public hazard and public nuisance when issuing siting permits for this use.
Require removal of the recreational vehicle within 30 days of completion of the building permit.
