General Purpose:

This bylaw amendment will permit Tiny Homes to be used as Coach Houses, a type of accessory dwelling unit in the Zoning Bylaw. Tiny Home means a Dwelling Unit constructed to CSA A277, CSA Z240, CSA Z241, or CSA Z240-RV standard which is placed on a permanent foundation complying with the B.C. Building Code and has a Gross Floor Area of 47 square metres or less, and is not a Recreation Vehicle.
