Consultation has concluded
We need your help! The District of Elkford is working on a Housing Needs Report to help us better address the housing needs of residents in Elkford. To prepare this report, we are launching a survey to collect information about housing in Elkford. Anecdotally, we have seen an increase in housing demand over the last two years; but collecting hard data helps us to drill down and better understand how we can address it.
Provincial legislation requires us to complete a new Housing Needs Report every five years. These reports help us plan to address residential needs, and can support other research, as well as grant applications for a variety of initiatives.
To maximize participation and inclusivity, this survey deadline has been extended! Please help us by completing the survey before 4:30 p.m. (Mountain Time) on Friday, November 26 and sharing with other Elkford residents! Note that the survey should only be completed by people currently living (or thinking about living) in Elkford.
All survey responses will remain completely confidential and will not be used to identify individual respondents. When completed, the Housing Needs Report will become a public document that can be shared and used by anyone interested in the information provided.
