The District of Elkford is proposing to amend the Five-Year Financial Plan, and we want your feedback!
What is it? The Five-Year Financial Plan and Budget outlines how the District of Elkford will allocate resources to deliver the day-to-day programs and services that our community relies on, all while achieving Elkford’s Strategic Plan. Since the adoption of the 2022-2026 Five-Year Financial Plan, there are two projects which require amendments to the Financial Plan in order to proceed: Hook Lift Plow and Sand Truck and the Community Conference Centre—North Roof Replacement. In addition to budget amendments, staff noted some additional amendments to financial policies within the plan which are suggested to ensure that the District’s policies align with decisions previously made by council and activities currently underway, such as collection of revenue from parcel taxes and property tax revenue from major industry.
