Pursuant to Section 466 of the Local Government Act R.S.B.C. 2015, Chapter 1, notice is hereby given that council for the District of Elkford has scheduled a public hearing to hear representations of all persons who believe that their interest in property is affected by proposed District of Elkford Official Community Plan Bylaw 710, 2010, Amendment Bylaw No. 853, 2021 and District of Elkford Zoning Bylaw No. 737, 2013, Amendment Bylaw No. 854, 2021.

General Purpose:

This notice includes amendments to the Official Community Plan (OCP) and the Zoning Bylaw for the same property. These amendments will change the permitted land uses on the property from parks and greenbelts to single unit residential. This only applies to a portion of the District greenbelt property.

 

OCP: Change from Parks and Greenways to Neighbourhood Residential Intensification.

The amendments are required to complete a disposition of this portion of the District greenbelt. Access to the remainder of the greenbelt will be maintained.
