What is it? The Five-Year Financial Plan (and budget) outlines how the District of Elkford will allocate resources to deliver the day-to-day programs and services that our community relies on, all while achieving Elkford’s Strategic Plan.

From March 4 to 18, you can review the 2026 Draft Five-Year Financial Plan at www.elkford.ca/2026fyfp or here on this page. On March 10, join us for the Public Open House, in Teck Hall, at the Community Conference Centre (750 Fording Drive) to chat about the budget with members of staff and council over complimentary coffee and snacks. Everyone is welcome, and we’re excited to see you there!

  • Drop off your written feedback at 744 Fording Drive.
  • Call 250.865.4000 and request to speak to the Financial Officer.
  • Join us at the 2026 Five-Year Financial Plan Public Open House on March 10 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in Teck Hall (at the Community Conference Centre, 750 Fording Drive) to chat about the budget and enjoy complimentary coffee and snacks!
